Our client is seeking an experienced DSP Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software for DSP and SIGINT systems. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software development, signal processing, and communications systems. This role requires hands-on experience with programming languages such as Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java, along with expertise in Linux and GUI technologies.

• Design, implement, test, analyze, and debug software for DSP/SIGINT systems.
• Develop and refine signal processing algorithms and techniques.
• Utilize programming languages, including Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java, in development projects.
• Leverage tools such as X-Midas (preferred) and MATLAB for DSP system development.
• Work with various operating systems, including Linux, Windows, Solaris, Digital Unix, and VMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DSP/SIGINT systems development.
• Proficiency in Linux, Java, MATLAB, C, and DSP assembly languages (C/C++/Fortran highly desired).
• Hands-on experience in communications or SIGINT systems development and testing.

Nice to Haves:

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of communication systems theory, including analog and digital modulation/demodulation.
• Expertise in signal processing algorithms and techniques.
• Experience with X-Midas is highly desired; MATLAB is a strong secondary preference.
• Background in algorithm development and building software for communications or SIGINT systems.
