Overview

Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Full Stack Cloud Developer in Fairfax, VA. An Active TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Spring Boot microservices using Java 8+.
  • Deploy containerized applications to Kubernetes or similar orchestration frameworks.
  • Contribute to Agile development cycles and CI/CD processes.
  • Design and implement RESTful web services.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph desired; strong candidates with the ability to obtain clearance will be considered.
  • Experience with Java 8+ development.
  • Proficiency in building applications within a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA frameworks, and Linux systems.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, Angular, or JQuery UI.
  • Proficiency in developing web applications using Java and frameworks like Spring.
  • Background in ETL/Big Data application development.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
