VETS. Inc., is looking for an experienced Sr. Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team at the Small Business Administration in Washington DC.
Responsibilities and Project Execution
Initial discovery sprint
Provide a clear and concise description of the issues that need to be addressed
Provide a comprehensive description of the business requirements for the new system and the outcomes that are expected from the system
Written recommendations and findings report to include a make/by/hybrid strategy for obtaining requirements identified as result of this engagement.
Conduct interviews with SMEs to identify potential user stories and needs of the system.
Provide targeted user research and possible user stories or prototype development for inclusion in future procurement actions based on the result of the discovery sprint and OED needs
Provide objectives to include functional and nonfunctional requirements
General weekly updates
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or demonstrate similar technical certifications in Amazon Web Services and know Windows, SQL, Unix and Linux servers as well
Experience in implementing industry best practices in modernizing data center environments, leveraging cloud technologies, virtualization, and maximizing the use of cloud storage and processing capabilities
Project experience Functional/technical requirements for the recommended solution
At least 3 years project experience translating client business needs into future capabilities
At least 3 years’ experience working within a team environment
Basic knowledge of assisting in the development of Objectives for possible procurement of solution platforms
Azure or AWS Certified Professional
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
