    Responsibilities

     

    • Collaborate with IT, business, and risk leaders to ensure key cybersecurity deliverables are met and teams work together to provide secure solutions. Deliverables may include completion of activities such as risk self-assessments, management of breaks, findings, treatment plans, and action plans
    • Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted cybersecurity partner to the IFS business unit. Communicate the practical implications of IT risk treatment decisions to business and technology individuals
    • Proactively develop, analyze and implement measures that ensure information security controls
    • Review risk exceptions using risk-based decision making
    • Participate in security and risk-based reviews of IT projects
    • Drive process or technology continuous improvements to support the strategic priorities across the BISO team and across Cybersecurity services
    • Partner with the rest of the Cybersecurity organization to ensure program consistency, develop information security risk strategies, implement action plans, recommend policy and procedural changes for risk avoidance and mitigation, and to build a culture and climate focused on the pro-active awareness of risk
    • Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and direction on IT policy, standards and controls and IT Risk programs
    • Provide subject matter consulting for ad hoc guidance requests involving cybersecurity
    • Document accurate reporting of risk mitigation activities to ensure that leadership is regularly informed

     

    Qualifications

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required Skills

    • Minimum BA/BS degree
    • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Information Technology, specific to risk management, audit, or cyber/information security
    • CISA, CISSP, CRISC certifications a plus.
    • Top Secret Security Clearance
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling candidate to prepare and present to all areas of the business, including senior management
      • Knowledge of industry-recognized information security-related standards such as ISO, NIST, COBIT, PCI-DSS
      • Basic understanding of application, network, operating system, and core infrastructure security concepts and concerns
      • Strong client relationship and leadership skills. Highly self-motivated/works independently
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Detail-oriented, committed to quality
      • Forward and creative thinking and planning
