Overview

VETS Inc. is hiring for a full time Administrative Assistant to support one of our Government Contracts.

 

*This position is contingent upon award

Responsibilities

The candidate shall provide administrative support with the oversight and management of Human Capital programs. Support includes, but not limited to:

  • Provide support to information products such as updating personnel rosters, maintaining group email accounts, development of administrative and security procedures, and disseminating policy memorandum and information papers.
  • Provide support to the development of staff action packages and use CATMS to support document coordination.
  • Provide support to online collaboration activities such as posting documents and maintaining current information on SharePoint, milSuite and other online collaboration tools as needed.
  • Provide meeting support for the conduct of the DoD Intelligence and Education Training Board (DITEB) to
  • include, but not limited to, planning and supporting meetings, locating and booking conference facilities,
  • drafting invitations, support registration and/or rsvp related tasks, coordinating calendars, agendas and
  • reminders, preparing/duplicating PowerPoint presentations, recording and disseminating minutes and tracking followup actions, and maintaining rosters.
  • Provide administrative support for the conduct of development programs, functional community management program, mandatory and supervisory training program, and oversight visit program.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Associates degree. (Four-year undergraduate degree from a nationally accredited university is highly desired.)
  • Five years of senior level organization experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Skills:

    • Public relations skills including courteousness, tact, and professional verbal and written communications skills.
    • Expert analytical writing skills.
    • Ability to work independently, be selfmotivated, and work cooperatively with other office personnel.
    • Experience with MS Office products including Sharepoint.
    • Experience in a DoD environment is preferred; OUSD(I) experience is highly preferred.
